	Fenriv In order to limit the vivisection, Mr Egon Naef helps researchers and scientists to develop alternative experimental methods to animal testing. Naef Foundation also encourages all the researchers to use these alternative methods, especially the in vitro methods, within the framework of their research. Naef Foundation gives a prize each year to a scientist who has made significant contributions to the development of the alternative methods.

	Ligue suisse contre la vivisection The goal of "La ligue suisse contre la vivisection" is to fight against, with all the possible legal means, the practice of vivisection such as the use of animals for medical, scientific, military, industrial or commercial purposes, until the total abolition of such practices. It recognizes and helps, financially, the creation and development of the alternative methods to animal tests.

	Venture 2006 Venture 2006 is an initiative of the ETH Zurich and McKinsey & Company, Switzerland. The Swiss-wide business plan competition supports young entrepreneurs in founding a company. Venture 2006 – as did Venture 98, 2000, 2002 and 2004 – aims to put to use untapped innovation potential by encouraging young entrepreneurs to develop a business idea.

The VITROCELL modules adapted to MucilAir offer new possibilities for the characterization of the effects of airborne substances such as gaz, nanoparticles, complex mixtures.

	3R Research Fundation The aim of the 3R Foundation is to promote alternative research methods to animal experimentation through grants for research projects. The organisation supports first and foremost projects aimed at developing new methods or refining accepted methods (validation) which offer practical improvements vis-à-vis standard animal experimentation in line with the 3R motto Reduce, Refine, Replace.

	Vaincre La Mucoviscidose The Association so-called " Vaincre La Mucoviscidose " is founded in 1965 under the name of " Association Française de Lutte contre la Mucoviscidose " (AFLM), which is recognized by a bill of 12 July 1978 as an organization with public interest. Its goal is to support the patients suffering of cystic fibrosis, until a complete cure. With this goal in mind, VLM helps the CF patients and their family to overcome all kinds of everyday difficulties, such as the moral or material problems. It defends the interests of CF patients and their families with regarding their rights. It diffuses the information concerning the new genetic testing methods and new therapeutics. It helps to coordinate and facilitate the treatment and patient care. It is also involved in improving the social life of CF patients: educations, formation and jobs. It informs the public opinions about the CF diseases. It promotes the scientific researches on CF diseases. It makes contacts and exchanges with similar organizations in foreign countries.
